Narrin Studio Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the cancellation and refund terms applicable to Narrin Studio subscriptions purchased directly through Narrin.io.

By purchasing or activating a Narrin Studio subscription, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Purchases made through an app store, crowdfunding platform, reseller, or other third-party service may also be subject to that provider’s refund and cancellation policies. When a third party processes the purchase, refund requests may need to be submitted directly to that provider.

Nothing in this policy limits any nonwaivable rights available under applicable consumer-protection law.

2. Lifetime Subscriptions

Payments for a Narrin Studio Lifetime Subscription are final and nonrefundable.

A Lifetime Subscription is a one-time purchase and is not eligible for a full or partial refund after the purchase has been completed, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

This no-refund provision applies even when:

  • You stop using Narrin Studio.

  • You close your Narrin account.

  • You no longer have a compatible or supported device.

  • You decide that Narrin Studio no longer meets your personal needs.

  • You purchase another Narrin subscription or product.

The nonrefundable nature of the Lifetime Subscription will be disclosed before purchase.

3. Annual Subscriptions

Narrin Studio Annual Subscriptions may be canceled at any time.

An Annual Subscription is purchased for a 12-month period. When an Annual Subscription is canceled, the cancellation becomes effective at the beginning of the next monthly subscription period following the cancellation request.

You will retain access to Narrin Studio through the end of your current monthly subscription period. Access to Narrin Studio and any subscription-dependent services will then be disabled on the effective cancellation date.

The current monthly subscription period is not refundable. You will receive a prorated refund for the unused full months remaining in your annual subscription term.

There is no additional cancellation fee.

4. Prorated Refund Calculation

The refund for an Annual Subscription will be calculated using the actual annual subscription amount paid, divided into 12 equal monthly portions.

The calculation is:

Annual amount paid ÷ 12 × number of unused full months remaining

Any promotional discount, coupon, Kickstarter credit, Founders Club credit, or other price reduction applied to the purchase will be reflected in the amount used to calculate the refund.

Promotional benefits, bonus features, complimentary access, and noncash credits have no separate cash value and are not independently refundable.

Example

Assume that:

  • Your annual subscription begins on January 10.

  • You cancel on April 22.

  • Your current monthly subscription period runs from April 10 through May 9.

You will retain access through May 9. Your Narrin Studio access will be disabled on May 10.

The remaining eight full monthly periods will be refunded. The refund would therefore equal:

Annual amount paid ÷ 12 × 8

Refundable taxes will be adjusted as required by applicable law and the payment processor’s procedures.

5. Automatic Renewal

Where automatic renewal is enabled, an Annual Subscription may renew for another annual term using the payment method associated with your account.

Canceling your Annual Subscription will:

  • Stop the next automatic annual renewal.

  • Establish the effective cancellation date.

  • Initiate the applicable prorated refund.

  • Disable Narrin Studio access when the current monthly subscription period ends.

You will not be charged for another annual subscription term after a cancellation has been successfully completed, unless you later reactivate or purchase a new subscription.

6. How to Cancel

You may cancel your Narrin Studio Annual Subscription through the subscription or billing settings associated with your Narrin account.

When self-service cancellation is not available, you may submit a cancellation request by contacting:

Your request should include:

  • The name associated with the subscription.

  • The email address associated with your Narrin account.

  • The order or transaction number, when available.

  • A clear statement that you wish to cancel your Annual Subscription.

Narrin may request reasonable information to confirm your identity and protect your account from an unauthorized cancellation request.

A cancellation is considered submitted when Narrin receives a valid request through the available cancellation method. We will send a confirmation identifying the cancellation date, access expiration date, and estimated refund amount.

7. Access After Cancellation

After the effective cancellation date:

  • Your Narrin Studio subscription will be inactive.

  • Access to Narrin Studio will be disabled.

  • Subscription-dependent cloud, synchronization, account, or related services may no longer be available.

  • You will no longer be entitled to subscription updates, services, or benefits.

You should export or download any content that you wish to retain before your access ends.

Canceling a subscription does not necessarily result in the immediate deletion of your account or associated information. Personal information and account data will be handled in accordance with the Narrin Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and applicable law.

8. Refund Processing

An approved prorated refund will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Narrin will submit the refund after the cancellation has been processed. The time required for the refund to appear on your account may depend on the payment provider, card issuer, bank, and payment method.

Narrin is not responsible for:

  • Bank or payment-provider processing delays.

  • Currency-conversion differences.

  • Foreign transaction fees.

  • Charges imposed independently by your financial institution.

When a refund to the original payment method is not possible, Narrin may request additional information to identify an appropriate alternative.

9. Duplicate Charges and Billing Errors

If you believe that you were charged more than once, charged an incorrect amount, or billed after a confirmed cancellation date, contact support@narrin.io.

Please provide the account email address, transaction date, charged amount, and any available receipt or transaction number.

Verified duplicate charges and billing errors will be corrected or refunded as appropriate.

10. Purchases Through Third Parties

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, Kickstarter, or another third-party provider may be governed by that provider’s billing, cancellation, and refund procedures.

Narrin may not be able to issue a refund directly when the payment was collected and retained by a third party. In those circumstances, you may be required to request the refund from the provider through which you completed the purchase.

This policy applies to the extent Narrin directly controls the billing relationship.

11. Changes to This Policy

Narrin may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy to reflect changes in its products, subscription options, payment processes, business practices, or legal obligations.

The updated policy will be posted on Narrin.io with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Unless otherwise required by law, changes will apply prospectively and will not reduce the refund rights associated with a cancellation request already accepted by Narrin.
